I’m a lumberjack and I’m OK

13 joined me at Chiseled this morning where I attempted to empty the box of all the gear. Dumbbells, kettle bells, weight plates, and I’d hoped to use the slam balls but alas, they weren’t there. Add on some coupons, sledge hammers, two tires, and a fire hose and I’m glad I got to the AO at 4:55 this morning cause it took a good chunk of time to set everything up. Major thanks to Tuck and Roll for getting there early (unexpectedly) and helping me put everything out.

Run a quick two laps around the stations

In cadence: 15 SSHs, 10 Mountain Climbers, 15 SSHs, 10 Plank Jacks, 15 SSHs, 10 Merkins

The Thang

Lumberjack costume, why not a hint of a lumberjack theme?

The timer: Push the cart (Hair Burners to the parking lot island). Load the wood (Rifle Carry the weight plate back to the tire). Chop the wood (10 sledge hammer hits on the tire)

The stations:

  • Tricep Kickbacks (with dumbbells)
  • Kettlebell Swings
  • Coupon Curls
  • Tricep Extensions (with dumbbells)
  • Tire Flip
  • Fire Hose Drag
  • Shoulder Presses (with coupon)
  • Bent Over Rows (with coupon)

With 9 stations and 13 pax a few guys had to partner up. No worries, I had enough gear at each station to accommodate.

As soon as the timer is complete, all pax drop their gear, do a full lap around all the stations, then rotate clockwise one station.

After everyone had done the timer once, circle up for a quick 5 burpees OYO then repeato the stations counterclockwise this time. Change up partners and/or go solo this time.

We almost made it through a full round of timers. I think one lucky group didn’t have to do hair burners.
