No rain on Rain Man?

Since joining F3 my Q’ing weather odds have not been so spectacular to say the least. Four out of the six times I’ve led it’s been in the rain. At first it was kinda funny given my nickname, but then I wasn’t so sure I would ever see clear skies when leading. Well this morning was quite the opposite of the norm I’m familiar with which was just what I needed to start the day off right. I’ll take 70 degrees running with a pack of sweaty men through beautiful downtown Waxhaw any day of the week.

DICCS were given and I even strapped on my cell phone like Chastain and Carbload to make them proud.

Warm up: 15SSH, 15MNC, and the usually stretching.

Train Bridge Area 3X’s

  • 100 Plank Jacks
  • 100 jump knee tucks

Jack Webb

  • 1 merkin then 4 air presses  (up to 10 merkins and 40 air presses)

Not much to add this morning outside of a few folks (Dana) worried I was going to run them to death which for the record I did not. I feel like 2.2 miles is a very respectable showing for The Floater. It was also fun hearing Ice9 and Recalculating go back and forth on who’s dickie was touching the ground during the merkins. I haven’t had any complaints from Recalc (also known as the form warden) so I guess I’m doing something right.
