She Wasn’t Looking at the Sunrise

Pursuit (06/09/22)

Quotes from the Gloom:

  • “Look at that. What a beautiful sunrise.”
  • “What’s that lady looking at?”
  • “I don’t think it’s the sunrise.”

Many things to admire this morning. But now on to…

The Thang

  • Warmup
    • Lean on YHC’s car and do Prime the Pump (Fairly rapid calf raises while steadying self against a wall or piece of playground equipment.) – OYO for about a minute.

  • Time!

Moleskine (i.e., Spreadsheets from the Gloom)

A bit warm, a bit muggy, but a good time running this morning with some awesome pax. Wolverine and Tuck were pushing me the whole time. Ghosted try to hang back in order to maintain his “I’m not a runner” status. Ex-Lax was absolutely crushing it the whole time; dude would not quit and is definitely overcoming that “mental toughness” element of running almost non-stop for an hour. Turnbuckle, as usual, Mr. Dependable patrolling the streets of Millbridge, keeping the neighborhood safe. Wish he had been nearby when a lady came around a roundabout and was scoping out a shirtless Wolverine. He was admiring the sunrise, but she was admiring something else.  😉
