Cliff notes: This morning, the goal was to complete at least a half-marathon. Met one hour before to get those first 10k at Nesbit. PJ paced the pre-run on concrete—all the way to the Floater and back. Our resident early bird 2xT went directly for trail miles and the usual web detail. Such a nice guy.
All in all, the achievers today got themselves 14+ miles. One of them missed a big-ass black snake, and the other missed a nice conversation with the organizers of the 12-hour trail run that’s happening in the Creek of the Walnuts today.
If you have the time, stop by the site of Short Circuit to mingle with (and EH!) the other trail idiots.
