I told the 50 post challenge boys I’d post in Phoenix. So I’m glad I did. I got up in time, but was feeling lazy. My travel partner had the rental car keys in his room and was not answering my 445 am texts. I got back in bed. Then I said no. I jumped out. I dialed up an uber. No telling what he thought when he pulled in to drop me off at a dark and abandoned warehouse area.

Right on time. I jumped out and rolled up to the launch point with my wallet and phone charger and phone. I dropped it and we ran. I had no gloves. During bear crawls they asked me if I needed gloves. I said no, men who kill record breaking black bear, don’t need gloves when doing bear crawls.

The boys said they were training for the 4x4x48. I was like BFD, we are training for #gte59 and that’s why I was there actually. To avoid ruck u. Bear trap introduced himself. I said wow have u ever trapped or killed a bear. He said no. So I had to inform him of the time my dad and I were in on the kill of the county record black bear where I’m from. We pushed it hard. My watch was dead so no Strava. They asked if waxhaw was close to Charlotte. I said no, actually, Charlotte is close to waxhaw. We did A lot of laps and sprints. I kept my mouth shut for the most part and actually was in the middle of the pack. I repped well.

After COT, Jeter from NYC gave me a ride home even Though it was 15 minutes out of his way.
