What had happened was: Delayed start 30 minutes due to rain. Rag gave us another session of Rag’s MTB Skillz with some cornering tips that we practiced on the pavement. Titanium Plates led us through the alternate Cutty Connector, and this was a great way to get over to Cutty without getting muddy. Without the normal transit from the Lenny side of the trail system, there definitely was a lot of climbing up, and then back down today but it was absolutely great. And despite a fairly rainy afternoon, the portion of the trail system we rode was great today. Cableguy was recognized with the Golden FlavoFlav award for excellent MTB handling over the wet roots and rocks. Post COT hang out was great as usual. Stretcher blessed us with his presence; he was hung up at work but showed up with his dog and cooler wearing a nice polo shirt. The MTB stoke meter started to rise as we starting talking about trail ideas, and we didn’t end up closing down post MTB hang out until after 9p. Finally I want to note it is always great seeing our trail running brethren out there. Rubbermaid and Kid Rock that we saw amongst that group got a shout out for their love for the trails and maintenance work. See you all next week!
