What had happened was:

Cold morning, the day after Halloween. I didn’t think anyone was going to show, then came along Maple and Sugardaddy with big smiles on their faces. We mosey’d around the school, played on the outdoor playground and at the new town council building. We each took turns with different exercises or runs, and finished with a circuit of dumbbell exercises.
