Posted down range at F3 Toledo today. Looked on the F3 Nation website last night and chose this location due to the description of it being next to a river and having multiple options for the workout. Showed up about 25 minutes early and got a nice pre-run. Got back to COT about three minutes before 5:30 AM. Unfortunately it looked like the Q was not going to show up so the Pax did 🪨 📝 ✂️ to see who would Q. The pax that lost had never been to this location before but stepped up to have his VQ at this site.
Q started off with some warm-up SSHs, dips on the bench by the river, and 10 Merkins. After that the pax ran across the marina parking lot to a nice little hill exiting the marina. 10 big boys at the bottom of the hill and 10 merkins at the top. Repeated five times.
Next we ran down past the boats into the parking lot of Veterans Park. 15 donkey kicks on the wall, 15 dips on the bench by the river, 15 squats in the corner of the parking lot, then 15 Mike Tyson’s by the shelter. Repeat three times.
Then we ran to the entrance to Veterans Park, which also has a nice little hill. 10 Heels to heaven at the bottom and 5 burpees at the top. Repeat five times.
After that we ran back to the top of the marina hill for 10 squats and down to the Veterans lot to finish the work out. Merkins on one side of the parking lot, fast mosey to the other side, 10 squats. Repeat until time. Ended up with a little over 3 miles.
Overall I will say this is one of my favorite locations in all the places I have posted down range. The site really does have it all! Two nice hills, parking lots, and right next to a river. I can see why it’s such a highly attended site.
Shout out to the welcoming pax of F3 Toledo and thanks for a great workout. They started right at 5:30 AM and went all the way to the 6:15 AM bell. Coffeeteria ☕️ 🍩 was excellent at Tim Hortons and the Q even bought my breakfast!
