What had happened was:
Despite a brief moment of confusion as to why the Q’s alarm had not gone off with one clock that did not get set back 3 Pax and 2 FNGs made it to ruckus on time for a post DST 5:45 launch. Took the usual route through Champion Forrest to Cutty and back with decent pace and logged 3.72 miles.

Back to back 5Ks and workout 448 were no problem for U-Haul even after a late night hosting a bourbon tasting. Tollbooth keeps showing up and crushing workouts like taking candy from a baby, or your own kids like all you dad taxers!

Met first FNG Tom who’s son plays baseball and is coached by Deadwood. Got an instant Yankees connection with him from his New York jacket and then a brief WS game 7 recap. Originally from NY/NJ area and runs asbestos abatement company. Welcome to Babe!

Second FNG coming in hot at 5:45 like some other well know pax was Kevin. Referred by client from F3 Davidson. Raised in So Cal then on to Houston and Austin, TX and now lives in Weddington. At COT announced up coming blood drive and prayed Babe’s family member who had a fall and recovering from broken back and for job opportunities for Oracle.
