What had happened was: 14 two-wheelers hit the recently groomed trails thanks to this week’s handy work of #Titanium Plates, #Magnolia and #Rag. Right at the drop in to Lenny, #Spider Monkey’s rear wheel got bitten by the Lenny troll. A small tree prevented a high side from launching him into Lenny’s libation. I was on his tail and originally thought I was about to eat a taco’d wheel for a trailside dinner snack. Luckily it was just his quick release releasing quickly and a short pit stop got the wheel reinstalled. We were back on the pedals to greet Tron appearing from the trees at the top of Lenny Hill. All 14 were reunited as we poached the closed skillz park and resumed our ride to Cutty confirming new trail fairy Debby had eradicated the yellow jackets. #Stinger, you can re-join us! We hit The Snake, The Green Mile, PoCo, #2 and my personal favorite #4 on the way out of the magical Cutty forest. Back to the parking lot for a ride re-cap, announcements, refreshments (including fresh picked figs and insects compliments of #Rag), suspension tuning, and good ‘ole F3 camaraderie. Stumpy and Flava Flav awards go to #Rag and Titanium Plates. Both awards may now need padded carrying cases thanks to recent additions.
