[body_shop] Dudes on the court, working out, talking smack

Surprises abounded (is that a word?) at The Body Shop on the Thursday before Christmas weekend as 5 answered the call of holiday hours.

We started with the surprise appearance of Tickler who was easily entreated by holiday hours while enjoying beverages with Noonan the night before. Then, following a wrong turn that led him to the physical therapist’s office, Ice9 joined the PAX.

WARMUP: A few exercises and some stretches

THE THANG:. Head to the basketball courts for lots of lateral work, going side to side on the court in various ways, with intermittent arm and ab work, followed by Laura around the track. Up-n-overs at the Gaga pit were a crowd pleaser.

Finish with a full round of Febreze.

MOLESKINE. Great effort this morning and huge thanks to the surprise visitors, especially because seeing Ice there convinced me to up the intensity, even if it didn’t result in dry heaving. Maybe next time. Noonan jumped on to lead some cadence and One Star pushed it hard coming out of a little injury time. And Tickler just muscles through everything as if he works out even when he’s not at F3. is that allowed?

The chatter on the court was solid, especially once football, rugby and wrestling came up. Takes were told and injuries rehashed.It was a good morning to be out with the guys, pushing and seeing a beautiful sunrise.

One Star offered a solid takeout.
