What had happened was:
Three I-talians and 1 Northern European launched from Nesbit Park and explored some neighborhoods North of Kensington Rd: Quellin, Oak Grove, Anklin Forrest and Kensington Park. The Q overslept and met up w/ the pax about a quarter mile into the run. Luckily they guessed the correct direction to run and it all worked out. It was fun exploring some new ‘hoods that we don’t normally run in. I owe Flip a cup of coffee after losing a friendly wager about home prices in one of the subdivisions. Also these slackblasts aren’t supposed to be boring, therefore Kid Rock got struck by lightning (and didn’t slow down), Flip did a tumbling routine down one street and PJ flew off with a winged unicorn named Kevin. It got pretty weird.
