Morning Reflections
It was YHC’s VQ at The Floater. Rolled up in the gloom and saw only Easy Button … and for a brief, shining moment thought this might be it—the elusive “skip the workout and roll straight to breakfast” kind of morning 🥞
But alas… the dream died quickly.
Kid Rock rolled in looking forward to a low mileage workout and then my man Jitterbug shows up—true to form—supporting his Combine comrade. Just like that, the pancake fantasy dissolved and it was time to go to work.
And honestly… wouldn’t have had it any other way.
What started as a momentary bummer turned into a much better morning—getting after it in the gloom with the boys.
Warm-Up
PAX rolled out with a .5 mile mosey through downtown to get the engine started. Circled up for:

The Climb
Mosey to the park where things escalated quickly:
– 7s – Top of the Hill & Back
– Tysons at the bottom
– Bomb Jacks at the top (in honor of Chastain)
Partner Pain Station
Back at the park, PAX paired up for a grinder:
– Partner A: Work
– Partner B: Run to curb and back
– Cycled through:
– 200 Step-Ups
– 200 Dips
– 200 Merkins
– 200 Squats
