WARMUP: mosey around school (little scare with Xerox twisting his ankle), circle up for 12x SSH IW LSS, plank to can opener, reach to the sky stretching a bit and mosey to BB court grabbing a few mats along the way (Appetizer’s 5-star treatment)
THE THANG: Followed Cardinal’s VQ plan, not sure on run distance and expected we’d fall short on time:
Round 1 (2x): 5 burpees, 10 BB, 10 H2H
Run lap around school (watch your step)
Round 2 (3x): 10 burpees, 20 crunches, 30 MC
Run lap around school (a little darker now)
Round 3 (4x): 15 burpees, 30 squats, 30 Freddie Mercury
@Southern_Tip actually finished the 4th round while the rest of us ~caught our breath~ cheered him on and admired his stamina. Our pre-run will have to suffice for finishing with the run which works better considering its nearly dark now and most of the PAX aren’t as familiar with the site.

COT: Good workout by a great guy we only heard stories about because of the tragic and sudden end to his life. But we know he’s representative of all of us and a sad reminder of the fragility of our lives. Prayer’s for Cardinal’s family and for the rest of us that we will take advantage of the time we have, set strong examples as men, fathers and husbands and support each other each day.
