Last night YHC mapped out a route. Definitely had Drive By – Rob Rosenthal in mind … This thing was all over the place!
The concept was Bob and Weave to maximize elevation gain.
Run to the first street and turn right, then left, then right….
Rinse and repeat until you get almost 7 miles back to COT after looping in and out of every side street in the hood.
Long route, yes, but so many spots for PAX to skip a loop and be at the next intersection if needed.
YHC, Rubbermaid and Damascus got a 1 mile pre-run in for warm up.
We all ended up with varying mileage and only one PAX got lost on the way back. Sorry Falcon, not sure even where we lost you.
Lucky Charm (Derik Dean) was our FNG this morning. Ironically he was invited out to F3, 3 times this week by different PAX.
3rd time’s a “Charm”…. And he finally decided to join us.
Probably not expecting a 6+ mile route on his first experience, but he hung in and finished on time. Great work to those PAX continually inviting new guys out… You never know if you may be the time that finally convinces them to join.
