I arrive unusually early (because I was up early playing weather man for this upcoming storm), 6:26 Posse rolls in (another suprise). At 6:29 I’m beginning to think Hatchet is about to get his HC privileges’ revoked again. At 6:29:45 we see his truck rolling in. I ask Posse if we should roll out at 6:30 and stay true to F3. Posse was feeling unusually undickish (that’s a word right?) today and suggested we wait on Hatchet. So at 6:30: 40 we head out.
Hatchet takes the first 30 40 minutes and tells us he has to leave early for a swim meet. His Q consisted of lots of squats, tricep rock work (because he said he had to assert his dominance over the other swim dads (???)), and some crushing ab work with running in between. He finished up back to COT with some calf (or calve as his shirt suggests) work and we took a quick early picture to get us all in frame.
My turn:
Mosey back to rock pile for 1 rock. Riffle carry while posse air presses then swap until we reach the stairs.
Sure Shriver and team titan did a grinder today….but Commitment did a two man grinder today. Bicep curls at the top of the stairs while the partner ran down the stairs, did 10 merkins, and ran back up. Repeato 3 times.
Riffle/air press back to put the rock up then mosey to the school for 4 quarters. mosey, fast mosey, jail brake, walk/recover. Do that 4 times. On the forth time I said if we don’t finish together we have over time. Unfortunately we had 3 overtimes and went 3 minutes past time.
Back to COT where Posse suggested we go clean up the trash that the Raccoons got into last night at the baseball fields. We met the concession guy and got a big thank you from him for the work. He was aware of F3 but now he knows F3. Thank you to Posse for pushing for more there and reminding me to always leave your site better than you found it.
Lots of Mumble chatter today (who would have thought with these three). Topics included me playing golf with Anna Sorenson and Max Greyserman this week. What non basketball item we could dunk in high school (Hatchet was a girls basketball and I could only touch rim but tried for years to dunk a tennis ball like my dad). And finally the proper pronunciation of Pharaoh.
Enjoyed it as always boys (except that over time of 4 quarters, that sucked). Until next time…
