What had happened was: Two groups tonight ( Kind of) Endo led group A1 which started out as 7 riders, within 10 minutes 2 were lost A4, down to 5, halfway through we lost another, down to 4, A3. 45 minutes in the next two dropped A2 That left Endo and Kickstand. Somehow we still managed 9+ miles. Southern tip led B group no incidents reported. The FNG seemed to disappear and reappear many times during the ride hence his new nickname Houdini.
