What had happened was:
7 pax logged 3.4 miles over to Cutty and back. We had several good conversations about being good neighbors, retirement planning and the 2 vets swapping stories. Stopped for some brief site maintenance to finally cut that pesky wire, now we just need a shovel to patch that pothole. Welcomed FNG Conner originally from Maryland who is a SATCOM specialist with the National Guard and father of one with one on the way. Gave him a hybrid name, welcome Crablink!

At COT we had a few announcements about upcoming service opportunities with Christ’s Closet, Marvin Halloween celebration and Friends of Waxhaw Parks & Trails. We ended with prayers for our families and friends and passed out a few goodies to those who not there last week!

It was pointed out that to better live up to my name Cartel evidently only the first sample is supposed to be free. Dealing out diabetes to my fellow pax!
