What had happened was: We had record numbers at COTS this morning. Estimated 200+ meals were served with more women and children than usual. We ran out of eggs and sausage patties. The line never seemed to go down until the very end when the eggs ran out. If you’ve never served with COTS, there’s always areas to help. The first Sunday of each month F3 Waxhaw is committed to volunteer. You should go at least once just to see the efficiency of the unloading of the van, the serving line, the clean up and the loading the van back up. It reminds me of a Chick-Fila drive through. It is a great 3rd Service.
