There are a lot of gear options at Mount X but I opted to keep it simple with just cinder blocks and bricks. However, before we even started it was realized that not all cinder blocks are created equal. Did you know that? According to Google it appears there are 2 versions of the standard 8 in. x 8 in. x 16 in. cinder block. One weighs 38 lbs. and the other only weighs 28 lbs. Which one do you have? I’m not naming names but at least 1 Pax this morning had the 28 lb. version. It was a sticky (kind of like glue) situation for sure.

Here’s what we did. I created a “Good Vibes” music playlist to see how many complaints it would generate and explained the Tabata style workout. Time for intervals!

Work for 1 minute with a 20 second rest in between. Exercises were:

ROUND #1
• Curls with Coupon
• Overhead Press with Coupon
• Flys with Bricks
• Coupon Jumps
• Derkins on Coupon

ROUND #2
• Seal Claps with bricks
• Squats with Coupon
• Merkins on Coupon
• Moroccan Night Club with Bricks
• Swings with Coupon

ROUND #3
• Overhead Claps with Bricks
• Toe Taps on Coupon
• Bench Press with Coupon
• LBCs with Coupon
• Burpees

In between rounds we ran a lap around Mount X.
