What had happened was:
The rain and rumors of rain were greatly exaggerated so 3 pax headed out into the gloom. We performed the Hatchet Loop to see if we’d pick anyone else up. Sure enough U-Haul face times us as he starts his Asheville Ruckus and we pick up Radar and Torpedo as well. So with a complete 6 pack now we head out through Champion Forest (or downtown Asheville) to Cutty and back. Wilbur slowed down to mere mortal speed with YHC & Pyro to recover after a half marathon yesterday. The man on a mission U-Haul keeps the quest for 500+ alive with a remote ruckus while Radar and Torpedo are pushing on to complete Rucktoberfest (31 miles in 31 days). Good work by all and U-Haul face timed us again for COT. Prayers were offered for safe travels, the people of Pakistan struggling in the aftermath of historic flooding and for strength, encouragement and blessings for the week ahead for us all!
