YHC gave the guilt trip to a couple of PAX to ensure they didn’t fart sack! Weather looked amazing! Downpour of sideways rain and brutal wind gusts… LFG …
3 brave souls showed up to join YHC and off we went!
Mosey around the lake
Stop 1: Side Straddle Wops- Italian walkers- Squats
Mosey around rest of the lake and stop at large traffic circle.
Around the Clock Merkins-
Start at 12 o-clock
Run to 1 for 1 Merkin and all the way around.
To 1 for 1 Merkin, 2 for 2 Merkins and all the way around.
To 1 for 1 Merkin, 2 for 2 Merkins, 3 for 3 Merkins and all the way around….
Finish with 12 laps and 364 Merkins while dodging the steady river flow of water along the curb, the aggressive wind and rain, and the multiple fire rescue vehicles driving through.
Mosey off into the neighborhood to the Waverly straights for a Starfish workout-
10 squats every time in the middle- to side intersection for LBCs and back
To top intersection for Big Bois and back
To side intersection for Heels to heaven and back
To bottom intersection for Flutter kicks and back
Mosey through the hood and back to the lake for a rock pile station –
Curls for the girls
Tricep extensions
Squat thrusters
Mosey to Hancock Hill for Mike Tysons at the bottom and Dry Docks at the top- repeato for 3 trips up and down….
Flip Phone got antsy after thinking it was definitely time to head back to COT and convinced Hot Yoga to join him in skipping the final lap up the hill…
Goodfella was kind enough to stick with the Q and finish the workout and mosey back…
YHC was fully prepared to penalize the mutiny with partner Merkins and picnic table Derkins… But it was already 1 minute past stop time…. I guess the workout was punishment enough for Flip for now 🤷🏼♂️
I’ll have to make him pay another day 😇.
Cafeteria followed for some coffee and watermelon and great convo as we watched the wind and rain reek havoc on the surrounded areas.
