What had happened was: The sun has set on the 2024 OTC season. Thank you to Hall Monitor, Mustard and all trail fairies for the trail prep. The single track was primo. Not dry, not sloppy, just right and tacky. Thank God for no serious injuries this season although Tron tested Him. Since he now has an alternate name, Cliff Diver, Tron may need to start the 2025 season wearing a Speedo swim suit to ensure his OTB’s will be smooth.
Thanks to Titanium Plates for cleaning out his used parts bin and repurposing worn bike components as trophies. He overwhelmed us with year over year OTC data. If OTC were a company, we’d all be getting bonuses for YOY performance. Great to see the growth of OTC MTB.

Bratwurst- Handle award for always being in control.
Groms – Chewey 6 and Shamrock 6

We voted on OTC logo for apparel. AI is relatively new, but already winning. Votes were tallied and we settled on the AI generated mountain logo, but will add the chain surround from the original OTC logo.

The final stumpy award was presented from Tron to his well deserving son, Shamrock. The youngsters sure can shred. The final Flava Flav award was presented to Bratwurst for his outstanding leadership throughout the season.

Bike workday this Saturday at Christ’s closet.

Twinkle toes will host B3 on the evening of November 16. We are planning a morning ride, hopefully at Mountain Creek, prior to the evening’s festivities. If you have never ridden at Mountain Creek, be sure to join in. Many of us think it is the best trail system in Charlotte.

Thank you to everyone for making the 2024 OTC season the most memorable one yet. There is chatter about riding through the off-season for those of us with lights. Cold weather riding gloves and thermal underwear are also solid investments. Stay tuned.
