What had happened was: Titanium Plates and Hi-Hat spent part of their day doing some trail prep. and building on an immense number of trail work hours that have occurred over the past few years. As mountain bikers in the CLT area we are somewhat spoiled with trails that are hard-packed and roll so well, and these trails anymore ROLL with the best of them. It is not unusual for several of us to roll in to Off The Chain kind of beat down from our work weeks, injured, sick, or even with malfunctioning bikes from the miles of beating they take – but we tend to show up anyhow as the trails and the times with these guys are so rewarding. Peaches got the Golden FlavoFlav recognition for his strong pace (and this is coming off from a week at the beach with his fam!) Twelve of us went out to the gnar and completed over seven miles of immaculate trails. I will take a MTB session like that ANYTIME!
