3 boot campers showed up at The Body Shop — unfortunately, the scheduled Q was not one of them. Imprompti-Q!

WARMUP: Mosey, SSH, Plank jacks, Peter Parker, Parker Peter, some stretching.

THE THANG: Paula Abdul to the fire station (or firehouse, as J-Woww calls it) with merkins and bomb jacks. Some ab work in the firehouse driveway. Return with incremental hand release merkins at each light back to the school. Circle of ab work to finish.

MOLESKINE:
The small group was a great way to chat it up and introduce yesterday’s FNG, Eclipse, to several key elements of F3: the impromptu substitute Q, common weinke lingo, and even calling an ab exercise around the circle. YHC just checked and the hit Paula Abdul song “Opposites Attract” was already 5 years old when a wee little Eclipse first caught his parents’ gaze. YHC didn’t even touch the depths of the Exicon, just sticking to 100 level terminology, but that, combined with a guy twice your age leading the group, had been enough to take in for the first two days. Then you tell him one of the MASHers is 73 and all pride is stripped.

Props to J-Woww for some additional ideas during the workout and for making good conversation — great morning in the not-gloom.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: J-Woww’s wedding anniversary today, so don’t forget the flowers on the way home.
