What had happened was:
DiCCS standard.
Mosey to the far reaches of five stones parking lot. Pax got a semi-thorough adequate warmup. Imperial walkers, calf stretch, runners stretch and mosey back to the circuit for a quick run down of the plan and then straight to business at 0536.

Three stations, four exercises. Coupons lined up on the third parking stripe. Do 1 burpee at each line (2 total), 10 curls while moving the coupon to next line. Next time around is 3 burpees and 10 curls, 4+10, etc. One lap around Mount X is 200m. (That’s 1/8 mile in freedom units). Each lap:
American hammers, x14 (2 is 1)
Burpees, incremental
Curls with coupon, x10
Dry docks, x12
After 18 minutes, reverse to run clockwise around and get the left leg involved. Subbed in 10x Air squats for the hammers, and 10x LBCs for the dry docks. This time 10x curls and burpees each line in decreasing number of reps to get coupons back on the 3rd line.
Recover at 0613 for a 3 minute breather cool-down stretching to finish.

Takeaways:
It was humid, wet, and hot. Hard to differentiate the rain from the sweat in the gloom. Very little mumble chatter, but this wasn’t the most vocal of groups
Great push from Maple Syrup to lead the pack. Awesome to see Rickshaw getting back into the mix. Neverending support from Chainsaw and Elmer’s as always
In 36 minutes of You vs. You, 5 pax accomplished an intense workout that in a way, ended up 100 reps short of a Murph variation. With a full hour, the Murph is totally and completely achievable.

Total numbers:
36 minutes
2.2 miles.
Just under 500 reps total including-
135 merkins/shoulder press
135 squat motions
130 curls

Been hearing a lot of chatter about how the Murph is too hard, or unreachable, or going to hurt too much. If 5 pax of varying ages and abilities can do the above, then the only thing stopping you on Monday is yourself. I’ll be modifying with the best of them because I know I cant do more than 5 pullups right now, but I won’t let that discourage me. Hope to see everyone at the convergence…!
