Based on a game my college girlfriend played behind my back, we tried to get all around the neighborhood. And much like my girlfriend, we did, but at the expense of our reputation (getting back a few minutes late).

By taking an unusual right out of the clubhouse, the conversations did as well.

On the way back through the woods, everyone got at least 1 squat in as we picked up litter by the bench we pass each week.

– Watch for potential holiday hours & convergences this week. Don’t worry – it’ll be at the last minute.
– Turkey trots in Lawson, Millbridge, Champion Forest, & Briar Crest for Thanksgiving. Wear an F3 shirt to EH some pre-FNGs.
– Turkey Jam Thanksgiving morning at Improper Pig in Rea Farms shopping center. Good compilation of Waxholes, SOB & A51 doing boot camps & pure running. Usually a great coffeteria afterwards. Previous ones have included burritoteria, cookieteria & tacoteria. 6:30?
– <@U075W83BAAV>‘s 1st intro to The Fort could come at their Thanksgiving convergence. Springfield Elementary. Their coffeteria will beat anyone else in the Carolinas, hands down. 2 full turkeys are usually fried on site with all the fixin’s.
– Karaoke at Middle James Brewery in downtown Waxhaw. Pay to (not) play. Proceeds go to Levine Children’s Hospital.
– Christmas party Lawson clubhouse, December 13. $20 per adult (no kids {our childish behavior compensates}). Paypal or Venmo F3 Waxhaw with a note saying what & who’s it for. <@U091MP2APPG> will be sending out a sign up genius for volunteers later. Chipotle catering.
– F3 will have a “float” in the Waxhaw Christmas parade December 14. Huge smoke show here if <@U03Q8TPSYEM> goes big on the burritos the night before. We’re pulling/pushing a perfectly good truck, along with having representation of our other AOs. We need as many Hard Commits as possible for this. When done well in other regions, it gets a lot of eyeballs & brings a lot of FNGs in the following weeks.
