[the_rock] What The Freeze?!

What had happened was: What happened?! It turned freaking cold on us! Every car there has a nice coat of pollen on it and it was kissing 32° — that’s not right.

And somehow YHC was on Q at a no-run AO for the morning.

This brought challenges because running is a great way to warm up usually so we had to switch it up, do some show mountain climbers, walking Imperial Walkers, SSH and whatever we could to get blood flowing.

Shriver brought it this morning, especially as we broke out the new wood toys that Strawberry dropped off last weekend. He manned up and carried both in a beastly way that looked like it would rip his fingers apart. Penalty Box brought the humor for the glute bridge and wanted to proclaim this a glute-free workout but no such luck. Either Black Hat or 2 Hand upped that glute game and added the cinder block for the bonus challenge. 💪 Shop Dawg had a great Idea to add goblet squats to the second round of stations and that was a nice improvement of thrusters right before carrying blocks down the parking lot. And then Sledge said he wasn’t cleared for the full workout yet, but he carried blocks back to the storage area, so he might be closer than he thought.

So why was YHC there? Black Hat proposed a Q trade recently and he led his first boot camp in a long while, and YHC led only his second no-run AO. It was a great reminder to get outside your comfort zone and grow — that’s why we’re here!
