What had happened was:
Ahoy mateys!

In preparation for our journey to the oasis that is downtown Waxhaw, YHC did what any responsible pirate captain would do: I brought my own sand to thus Beach.

We also had a PAX downrange from Lexington — shout out Cream Corn for making the trip and putting in a solid effort. You may have traveled from afar, but unfortunately, the suffering was exactly the same.

🏴‍☠️ SETTING SAIL
We kicked things off with Indian runs toward the park, with our newest crew member — the sandbag — coming along for the ride.
A little light stretching at the park the shenanigans began.

☠️ 7s OF DOOM
We attacked the hill with 7s:
Lunges at the top
Tysons at the bottom
Naturally, our beloved sandbag required to be carried up and down the hill every single set.

🏝️ ISLANDs in the Sea 🥹
>From there, we headed into the park.
The sandbag officially became our timer — and our newest bestie.
One PAX grabbed the bag and took it ~40 yards out and back, while the rest of the krewe worked through:
Step-ups → Merkins → Squats → Dips → Erkins → Speed Skaters → Big Bois → Box Cutters → Hammers → V-Ups → Dry Docks
Yeahhhhhh, That was a lot.

☠️ THE EVIL HILL
With about 15 minutes left, we centured to that evil hill for one final voyage into the depths of hell.
20 Big Bois at the top
5 Burpees in the middle
10 Merkins at the bottom
Two rounds.
And of course, who came with us?
You guessed it…sandbag.
Seemingly some reps were skipped but oh that form was impeccable.
