What had happened was: Plenty of good work but a highlight was during the round robin, Sun Drop wasn’t quite done with his exercises and Penalty Box thought it was his turn and headed to the curb for some fast feet steps. But he headed over alone because the rest knew SD still had a round left. “We lost him! Where’s PB going?” “Sound the Silver alert!” Penalty Box was slightly amused but then Hatchet said, “He was shuffling off like Joe Biden with the ice cream cone” and then we started to see the Canadian brawler come out, we saw him almost live up to his name as he threw down the imagination gloves and headed across the circle to whoop up on the youngster. Tempers calmed down, we laughed, and Sun Drop finished his exercises.
We finished up with a real COT and a reminder that we all hit rough patches at times and need to remember to nurture those key relationships in our lives no matter how long we’ve been in them or how routine they become. Date nights!
