What had happened was: 20 bikers came out in full force ready to shred. One group led by speedy Endo headed toward Lenny, hall monitor took a jump build for motorcycle and had an oh shit moment. Buffet figure out very quickly that wireless shifters don’t work well with a dead battery. Lucky for him Cottonmouth came to the rescue and gave him a back up battery.
Note to self Buffet before each ride to check: helmet, shoes, bike, a fully charged battery and water bottle.
Note to self Endo: rollercoasters are meant to be ridden downhill :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: .
The group enjoyed the upgraded jumps in the skills park before heading to cutty, poco and back.
Second group led by Rockwell the charter member of OTC and had this group booking and completed 7 miles.
Peaches is hooked on jumping and caught good air in the skills section. Sign up for jump lessons with Peaches in the near future. FNG Arpaio/snuggles/Xray not to be outdone by Peaches, Showed that he can jump as well.
New miniature stumpy award was given to Breezer for his bravery last wed after a short swim.
We welcomed 2 FNG, Arpaio/Xray/snuggles and grease monkey. 2 fine and skilled gentleman.
Reminders:
– Wednesday May 14 – bike repair and pizza after the ride. Make sure grease monkey is there.
– Friday May 23 at 6 pm sharp – B3 at Rockwell- more details to follow
– Cureton connection ride and Lebanese brunch is postponed due to weather this weekend. Will reschedule.
