A little birdie told me black hat and goodfella were coming and bringing their kids (that birdie was wrong). But with that in mind I tee’ed up some fun and games with some competition mixed in.

Warm up:
Ran to the school entrance for merkins, ssh, and stretches. Every tree on the right up the hill stop for five squats. Mosey to school bus lot.

The thang:
Star fish with progressive burpees in the center and a mix of push ups and legs on the out.

Split into teams for wiffle ball burpees. Some big sticks out there today. Also at least one mighty Casey. Lots of fun.

Basketball relay. Split into teams with kids and gramps vs the Middle Agers. Teams wall sits while one sprints to other end to make a basket and switch out. Except…. Youngins and gramps had a basketball while us middle agers had a 20 pound ball. It proved to be a bit more difficult to make.

Back to cot stopping for squats at trees.

Got to cot 4 min early so we did another relay race with ab work for those waiting.

Moleskin:
-Welcome hatchets girls whopper and waffle cone. Cut throat competitors.
-Welcome fng pullout couch out couch. He is a Durham native who works in forestry. We passed up names like Smokey the bear, timber, and Carolina Way for pullout couch once we heard he had 7 kids.
– cheddar continuing to crush workouts. Said today was his favorite followed by Wilbur’s stair master workout. Falcon in last place after running him 2.5 miles on Friday.
– I made the ultimate faux pax when meeting hatchets wife yesterday of mentioning his free balling tendencies. She laughed so maybe I didn’t get him in the dog house too bad.
– Good to have maple syrup back out at commitment. According to our website he is still a site q there ????
