What had happened was: It was a wet one and a good day to be on Q to force yourself to post.

THE THANG: Some moseys, motivator, the fire hose, blocks raccoon crawls, Nancy Kerrigans, a few merkins, bear crawls and something we’ll call the Polish Gift Exchange.

MOLESKINE: Thanks to a little Q exchange, Elmer’s invited YHC to Q an AO he’d been to once before and it was a good day to have that extra motivation. Elmer’s also promised some strange exercises, so YHC had to oblige with the NKs for balance and the raccoon crawls on the fire hose.

The hilarity started early when Elmer’s found himself being the only one calling out the rep count during in-cadence exercises. “C’mon, guys, he’s from Marvin — we gotta shower him we know how to count down in Waxhaw!” YHC almost lost it there. The mathematician Rockslide took the challenge and joined in later but it was still light in the rep counts during NKs. Rockslide made efforts to Q Jack for some added running and it worked once but that was it.

Black Hat was a beast running with the block and Spitz must be at the VFD in his spare time because he can carry the hose with skill and speed. Draper was business and about getting the work done.

YHC did try to finish out with a little fun as we arrived back to COT with about 10 seconds to spare and said, “Next exercise…” which elicited, “It’s time!” YHC still called The Shawshank but it was mostly lost in the desire to find shelter.
