What had happened was:
YHC needed to complete a 50k this weekend and reached out to see if anyone wanted to join.
We created a 25k out and back on the Greenway, planned it on St Patty’s weekend, and threw it a catchy name….
And a bunch of gluttons showed up.
Many miles were had, from 10k to 50k and everywhere in between!
Great job to many who have never run that distance before this event.
We enjoyed some amazing weather and some different scenery, as I am certainly not used to running and seeing the Charlotte skyline in front of me just after sunrise….
Pretty awesome!
Successful and stupid event!
