I love all the new workouts yet sometimes I miss those old days when you could count on seeing everybody at THE ONE workout on Wednesday.
Today the numbers were small, but the weather was perfect, the grass was dry, and I felt like doing a few exercises that we hadn’t done in a while, but used to be standard at most every F3 workout back in the day.
Partner work used to be one thing we always did. Today partners ran opposite directions around the parking lot and did five hand slap merkins every time they met. Total of six times.
Then we did a bunch of Mary and made our way over to the outskirts of campus where to the cross country course. They have a nice little grass hill next to the powerlines. Ran to the top for five Burpee’s then to the bottom for 10 big boys. All in the grass. Repeat for a total of five times. Made our way back to COT stopping along the way to do some more Mary. Then did some more when we got back to COT until time. Got a lot of heels to heaven, big boys, toe touch crunches, and back scratchers.
Great waterteria afterwards.
