What had happened was:
The original plan was to run 1/4 mile segments with lbc’s and dry docks at each stop. However, as the workout went on, those .25 mile clips became more like .22 then .19 then just some light poles. Drawing those cool little orange routes with your finger on Strava is much easier than actually running them.
However, I’ve been trying to incorporate more distance in my Q’s. I wanted to put forth a good showing for my first Q at Cutty in a while. It’s only taken me 11 months to finally be able to run 1-2 miles in a sub 10 minute pace. At this rate, I’ll crack the 8 minute mile about the time I become eligible for social security benefits. But hey, progress is progress.
Good push by the boys today all around. 2.5ish miles with core and upper body work sprinkled in. Sprints to finish out.
