What had happened was: 19 hard-core shredders set out from the usual starting point at Lawson pool. The A and B groups split up and went two different directions. Right off the bat, you knew this was going to be a different kind of ride. Chains were falling off, branches were getting stuck in derailers, and even a pedal fell off. It was starting to feel like a version of Final Destination. Buffett decided to take the starring roll and hit a hole, causing him to endo. Fortunately, the group pulled it back together, and we all made it back to COT only partially scathed.
Breezer celebrated his birthday by providing everyone beer. Ended up being a great ride after all!
