Cliff notes: As temperatures keep rising during the summer months, and the training needs of the Fellowship of the Idiots require more and more miles in the trails, it may make sense to move the starting time of Paper trail much earlier. Today was a good example: Dunkin, Catfish, Gerber, Drive-by and Hazmat had to use their headlamps on their early attack of the CTT. A second group of 4 (runners and ruckers) joined at the standard 6 am, at which time the heat and humidity were somehow pressing.
One that especially enjoyed himself this morning, in spite of the muggy environment, was YHC’s 2.0 Rocket. We ran a bunch, walked some, threw rocks at the creek, followed deer, rabbits, and scared a few squirrels, frogs and turtles.
We haven’t heard from our mountaineer brothers at the time of posting this BB, but PJ and Chopper are seasoned trail blazers. Can’t wait to see their pics!
