11 descended upon the Carolina Thread Trail after neglecting it too long in favor of Cutty and the WTF. Still, she welcomed us back with open arms. Kid Rock started strong and ended strong. probably had a strong middle too. Gerber abandoned his child (Speed Bump) to the trails but Papa Paper Jam scooped him up then promptly heckled him into running circles around men 4 and 5 times older than him. Drive-by and Chopper took it in stride, knowing the tortoise usually beats the hare. Cliffhanger hung with us for a bit before tearing off after Kid Rock. All I know is he got 8 miles and I didn’t see him until COT. SPEED. Apparently Da Vinci usually maxes out at 2 miles per run but today he carved out over 6 on the rugged trails. Flip Phone and YHC waited until after the swinging bridge on the return to turn on the gas and nearly caught Kid and Gerber (haha yeah right). Rubbermaid spends more time in these trails than he does at home so nobody cares what he did.
COT with Commitment and Munchkin took us out.
