I promised fun for today. But what does fun look like? I thought I knew but it wasn’t until my pre-run that the plan really solidified. If burpees are fun (for the Q) then lots of burpees has to be even more fun, right? And if you put those burpees on a repeating timer that lasts the entirety of the workout then it’s gotta be the most fun! Thus the EMOM timer was added about 3 minutes before the start of the workout. You’re welcome.
For the rest of the workout we did increasing merkins and squats at every tree around the parking lot (up to 9 merkins and 9 squats).
Then straight into a Captain Therkin (Big Bois, American Hammers, Merkins). A crowd favorite, for sure!
>From there some partner rock work. 100 each of Curls, Presses, Triceps, and Bent Over Rows. A little twist with this one. If you’re holding the rock when it’s Burpee Timeā¢ then you do 2 Rockees instead
A mosey to the wall at the front of the school to confirm that Chastain is a Jackass
Last few minutes remaining for a circle of ab exercises then everyone finished their final 2 burpees.
