Sixer rolled in driving his tow truck and then proceeded to give us a murph style beat down that he learned in prison:
I warmed us up with a mosey, some calf (calve) stretches, some arm circles and then some wall work (lunges, jabs, 2x balls to the wall). Then I kicked it over to Sixer.
He says, “Yall get a partner and stand face to face for this one-that’s how we did it in prison” :grimacing:. So we did 20 burpees each in alternating fashion in front of our partner. Because, it’s important to be facing a man, and watching your six, in a prison style workout.
Then we ran to the pull up bars for pull ups while our partner ran. Then we ran to the tables and did dips while our partner ran. Then we ran back to the school lot to do what Sixer said that he and fruit loop have been doing, called “groundwork”. It’s a merkin, shoulder tap, merkin, shoulder tap, merkin, knee tap, merkin, knee tap, merkin, foot tap, merkin, foot tap, Tyson, walk it back up to standing position, squat. THAT WAS ONE. We did 10 total, with multiple breaks after each 2. Twinkle mixed in some a work to keep us from another set of those, then we ran to COT to finish with fast feet.
Tanyatine actually brought great tunes to the club this morning. I was impressed.
In a clear attempt to exasperate Centerfold and I, One Star continues to be the only guy to ever graduate from Brown University, yet not be able to afford a new pair of Hokas.
Carb Load looked like he had his hair cut and styled just minutes prior to the workout. His wife is a professional salon owner so that could explain it. But I think the real reason is because he wanted to impress Twinkle toes, they hung pretty tight this morning, rode together, and spent quite a bit of alone time in the truck before the workout.
Das Boot did inform me that I should’ve kept the warmup rep count at 6 each. But I was too scared of doing 6,6, and then 6.
It was good to see Strawberry, who pushed it and gave us an update on COTS at COT.
F3 Ironsides made it out. They say he’s a cotter (or kotter-I’ve seen it both ways), but he said he trained for, and ran a marathon last year so I think whatever he’s been doing is working just fine.
Noonan was a little worried when he found out we were doing a real prison workout and he was scared to get up on the wrecker for the family photo. But other than that, he had a strong showing.
Punxsy had to leave early to catch a flight to Seattle but said he didn’t want to miss a Sixer Q, even if he couldn’t stay the whole time.
As for Sixer…who is he? Well, he showed up a while back at Bushwood and has been a legend of sorts since then. He got his name after he told us a little about his past. He’s in elite physical condition and should go Q some other sites too, he delivers a good beat down. And yes, on Jan. 6, 2021, he did participate in the activities in Washington DC and it landed him some time in prison. But, in all seriousness, he’s done his time, and now, he’s doing things the right way. He’s an elite mechanic and tow truck driver. He’s done great work on the cars of multiple pax for a fair price, and he’s even towed a car for a few. And yeah, maybe a knife fell out of his pocket at the second workout he came to during balls to the wall. But I surely acted like I didn’t see it, and you would have to. We can all use a second chance at times, Lord knows I need plenty of them. Sixer is making the most of his, and I hope today was his first of many Q’s in F3. In the mean time, if you need a tow, or some quality mechanic work done for a fair price, check him out at:

His real name is Linwood. It’s a windy dirt road down to the shop, and make sure you tell him Hatchet sent you…or Tanyatine, or even Posse…it’s a word of mouth only type of operation.
