What had happened was: It actually started on Sunday, how do we amp up GTE training? For those that have not done a GTE, they are grueling, just miserable and what I remember most about my GTE was carrying a telephone pole for something just short of 5miles. I carried that pole the entire time, it…..was…..miserable. So on Sunday I did a little scouting and found a tree that was roughly telephone pole size that got sliced and diced so that two pax could carry it and have a miserable time.

Now, not everyone understood what I meant when I said show up at 5AM for some extra credit, but what I meant was we had to get these logs out of the creekbed that I found them in so we could make good use of them. Now I am not sure whether “Hatchet,” or the “Actual Hatchet” HC’d to the extra credit but for those that did make it, the XC work only took 5 min so we had to launch into real extra credit quickly.

So, the thang:
1. ADD extra weight to everyone’s ruck 15-25lbs
2. 7’s with log carry up and down driveway
3. partner ruck carry
4. Partner and ruck carry

Noteworthy activities:
1. DW and Shriver crushed the log carry, which was more of a log mosey
2. Gilmour is going all in but wondering if Bottlecap really does F3
3. Zin is a beast with person carry
4. No whining was heard pax just killed it
5. I still am not sure is Hatchet is messing with all of us, pretty sure that he is arguing with himself at this point between the actual and real hatchet.
