Flight Log:
Nine brave passengers boarded Flight F3-DIESEL for a crisp morning departure. Your Q flew in direct from Wisconsin — middle seat avoided, but sadly no upgrade to first class. The best I could manage was an exit row and a packet of pretzels.
Upon arrival at the AO, I declared my secondary occupation as a traveling bourbon salesman and presented the crew O-69 with a fine bottle of Penelope Estate Collection 12-Year Rye — because no good layover should be dry.
Pre-Flight Briefing (DICCS):
Safety instructions reviewed. No oxygen masks deployed. Everyone ignored the seatbelt light and got after it.
In-Flight Service:
We hit all the major destinations —
• Legs: Departed smooth, minor burn on ascent.
• Arms: Turbulence detected midway through, passengers advised to hold on tight.
• Gear: Overhead compartments fully loaded.
• Mary: Gentle descent with ab turbulence.
• Bonus Plank Work: Unexpected holding pattern before landing.
Landing:
Touchdown was smooth and on schedule. 9 PAX made it through customs and were cleared for coffee. No baggage left behind. It was close, Kermit returned the speaker to the Q.
Always great flying with the Diesel crew — dependable, durable, and just a little bit dangerous before sunrise. Next time, maybe I’ll get bumped to first class.
