What had happened was:
Today’s goal was to not stop horizontal motion (aka keep moving) and maximize vertical reps and floor transitions. Managed 2 miles, 600+ cal, and whatever this is a drawing of.
EH’d Bratwurst as the solo member of gumby in attendance, to join the fun.
SSH to warm up and off to mosey around the lot. Standard leg and ab stretches.
More mosey, with stops along the way for 3 sets of merkins, and 2x abs until (Das Boot joined us enroute) we reached the benches of the middle school. Q learned his lesson last time about pax unable to count past 10, so let them do exercises on their own. Lots of complaining. No winning around here…
At the benches we did 10 step ups, mosey a half lap around the lot, 20 dips, mosey the other way for hill work, 10x step ups, mosey, 20 dips, mosey, 10x step ups.
More mosey to the back of the school to find some wall. 15x press ups, 15x punches, 15x Bobby hurleys, repeato with 20x each, repeato with 25x each.
Mosey back towards the start where a truck tried to take us out and stopped halfway to let Posse catch up. More merkins and mosey to starting area.
Parking lot has 24 parking spaces for a roughly 75 yard stretch, so pax lined up for uphill bear crawls across 3 spots, 5x flutter kicks, bear crawls 3 spots, 5x flutter, etc to the end. 8x sets total. Sprint back to start.
Repeato with lunges across 3 spots, 5x big boys, etc. Sprint back to start.
Pax and the Q did not want to do repeato with broad jumps and 1x burpee, so we sprinted to the end for 20x low squats, sprint back for 20x low squats and two more sets of sprints/squats.
Mosey to the COT for the final 3 minutes of Mary.
Noonan asked for prayers for his legs.
Great effort by all Pax this morning!! All earned some recovery time today…thanks for showing up in the gloom!
