So here’s the plan:
Paper Jam introduced YHC and Tuck to a connector route to get from Quellin to Cureton… That was the opportunity to create a large loop connecting to Millbridge and back… Sounds easy.
Let’s roll- 6 mile route planned, and off we go without wasting any time!
We have a couple of guys start a little early to get a head start, but YHC caught up and kept going forward into Quellin (completely unaware we lost Lucky Charm (Derik Dean) at the launch 🤦🏼♂️) Q’s fault-
We then hit the trail route including some dry bed Creek crossings which aggravated Damascus who verbally announced he was not willing to get his shoes dirty…. What happened to that guy????🙄
Into Cureton we go- splitting the group into whoever wanted extra mileage…
Out to Kensington and onto Providence where the mumblechatter was overheard about who’s gonna get hit by a car first, and if we can use Goodfella’s mob connections to blame as a scapegoat if needed.
Through Prescott village looping through road, gravel, dirt, and single track trail out to Prescott Neighborhood where we spread apart even further.
One quick shot from here over to Millbridge and we can still be close to COT timing, though YHC….
Until he lead us on an intriguing brand new black top trail that we just had to explore… Well, it looped us even further away, and spread us out for the last time….
Q’s fault!
We arrived at Waxhaw Marvin in several different groups…
1 left for their final trip through Millbridge to hit COT.
1 group went straight down Waxhaw Marvin to stay on main roads, hoping Premature didn’t get hit by a car…
1 group headed back for the six and then realized we are not in Millbridge yet and it COT time 😳
They took off before Tuck missed his 7am track meet.
YHC stuck with the 6, and we mosey’d through the walking trails back to Nesbit and eventually COT…
Maybe 15 min late … Maybe not.
At least we all survived 🤷🏼♂️
As stated earlier…. YHC is not a professional – if you chose to follow him, perhaps this was all your fault….
