Run almost 4 miles through Lawson and around Cutty, including 1 lap around track. Every quarter mile circle up for exercises. We started with 8 reps of merkins. At each subsequent stop we added another 8 reps of a different exercise, as selected/Q’d by a different pax each time. By the 10th stop we were up to 80 exercise reps. After that we started over from scratch and got in 3 more stops before time expired. Naming this format a Lazy Q-san (lazy Q meets Lazy Susan rotation).
Strong group! YHC learned that he is really good at the first 8 merkins. After that, not so much. Especially after Ice (enthusiastically/sadistically) called burpees, Hollywood called hand-release merkins and Mute called shoulder-tap CDD’s. Ouch. “Bootcamp shape” is a thing and YHC realized he is not in it. Kudos to the pax for pushing the Q to the brink. Usually it’s the other way around. Enjoyed the challenge and collaboration.
