The PAX were gathered in the cold at 0527 wondering who the Q was. Not clear so the debate began and Noonan said he could run with it. Then we saw a truck coming in hot and decided to tell One Star he was on Q. Mosey started and once he caught up near the parking lot, Noonan told him. “Huh? Okay!” and away he led.

He started with some of his favorites in warmup and Noonan helped conserve some mental energy by guessing what was next. Next step of his assumed Q in mind, he led us away.

Strangely, this completely unexpected weinke felt more planned than his regular weinkes. Granted, those are usually on the fly, too, but there’s an assumption that was aware of it. Today felt more planned and it was a solid, well rounded beatdown with bear crawls, duck duck goose and a salute to the classic Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

He finished by borrowing from the Tallahassee region as we circled around the school’s flagpole and he led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The big lesson today was that a PAX manned up and took the lead even when he was being punked. Are the rest of us ready for that today?
