I had a plan to do the hill entrance from New Town into the Publix parking lot but upon my drive in I noticed there was an even better hill off the road to the right. I did a little pre-run and tested it out to make sure it wasn’t too treacherous and added it to the weinke.
Deadwood called and told me he’d be late. Gasparilla called as he was doing circles around the Publix lot trying to find where Last Call COT is. They both came in a little late but only missed the warmups. Sugar Daddy felt guilty sitting on the couch drinking his coffee so at the last minute threw on some clothes (thank goodness) and headed our way, only 5 or so minutes late. According to One Star, that’s right on time, though.
After the warmup we headed to “The Hill” for some fun. Run up the hill (we’re talking a 45 degree burner) and back down then do 5 burpees. Hill Repeato with 4 burpees, then 3, etc.
Mosey to the small adjacent neighborhood for 5 Diamond Merkins and 10 Squats at each light pole.
Back to the entry hill for some 7s with burpees at the bottom and big bois at the top. That was pretty nasty so I skipped my idea (that I kept to myself) about doing another round of hill repeats and burpees on the new hill.
A quick mosey behind the Publix where we did some bear crawls, lunges, and broad jumps. Finally we wrapped up with some partner work as one partner did Cut-a-Flip (5 merkins, 5 big bois, repeato) while their partner took a lap around the shops.
Punxsy brought out his neighbor Gordy, whom we named Razzle Dazzle. He thusly got his name the same way as Twinkle Toes. The next FNG was gonna be Razzle Dazzle and that was Gordy.
Great job everyone. YHC took us out with an encouragement to get plugged in somewhere: 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd F
