Many moons ago I drove for what felt like hours to The Arsenal AO in Indian Land to support a down range Q by Bottlecap. At that workout, Bottlecap forced us to do a mini-Murph where we broke down half a Murph into a series of increasingly longer sets. It was awful.
Fast forward to this morning, where I was Qing The Beast (Best Ever At Stupid Things) where one of the Site Qs is none other than Bottlecap. And not only that, but the site (allegedly) focuses on Murph training! I thought it appropriate to bring it back out. Bottlecap was extremely impressed and appreciative of my good memory. I’m sure everyone else was too.
It looked like this:
5 pull-ups, 10 merkins, 15 squats; run to the stop sign and back (1/4 mile). Repeato with two rounds of the above. Run. Repeato with three rounds. Run. Repeato with 4 rounds. Run. Congrats! You just did half a Murph!
The remainder of the workout involved partners, running, burpees, more merkins, and Big Bois.
Then we wrapped it up with alternating Dry Docks and Speed Skaters at each light wrapping all the way around COT.
We skipped announcements because everyone has heard them before did announcements at Coffeeteria where Bottlecap’s wife bought everyone coffee.
