MARY:
Non-stop for the full time after the warm-up. Modifications were encouraged due to the cries under the Five Stones lights, but copious options across dumbbells and kettlebells allowed a workout perfectly tailored to a diverse group of hard working men. Most chose to modify by using a lighter kettlebell or dumbbell when things got rough. Others settled into curb dips when traditional dips after merkins and shoulder presses piled up. Still others, took time out of the busy workout to teach us a thing or two about the word modify really means. @Jingles educated us with the most meaningful modification when he clarified that rows were not an exercise, but an acronym: R.O.W.S. = Rest Or Work Slowly. We are indebted to him for this. We also learned that a mosey at The Rock is a perfectly reasonable substitute for merkins. Not to be outdone, a PAX removed the head to a sledgehammer (allegedly on accident while working with it), but sadly learned that there was a 12-pounder that could be used in lieu of the 8-pounder. It was a wonderful time for everyone involved but the Qs car on the trips to and from the site. No boxes were harmed for this Q, but they were labeled clearly and placed at each exercise to ensure nothing got in the way of each PAX enjoying the morning.

Prayers were requested for @Cliffhanger ‘s mother, @Surge ‘s wife, The Q’s Wife, @Bunyan ‘s wife, and others. The Q took us out. The picture was an homage to the sacrifice of these brave boxes. Then all but one assisted in the extensive collection and clean up of equipment.
